I want to learn...

I have two things that I want to learn.
I want to learn more about HTML because it is so funtastics!! I had thought HTML was very difficult, but I noticed that it was not so complicated. I learned basic things to make a web page, but I want to learn more to make more interesting web page like popular web pages. How can I put on music on my web page? How can I make original animation on my web page using a degital camera or ilastration?
Also I want to know the way that I can find a useful web page easily. Sometimes, I cannot find dependable information and only can find undependable information, so I think maybe I do not ues the Internet effectively.

Viral Video

I did not know the term, viral video. First, I thought that viral video was a video clip that contains computer virus, and if a computer opened the video, it caused the trouble. I researched about it, and I realized that my guess was wrong.
Viral video means any video clips that are shared by many people through e-mail, messengers, blogs, and other websites. The most famous viral video site can be You Tube. Viral videos spread like a virus, so the name was given.
Viral videos are originally funny video clips made personally. Recently, the popularity of viral video on the Internet is used to promote new musicians or TV idols.
Thus, I noticed that I had seen viral videos even though I had not known the word.

ＧＩＦＴＳ！！

If I buy a present for my family, first I will choose a skype- set for my parents and sister. Because my sister lives in Texas, I cannot call her as much as I want, so if she has a camera and a microphone, we will enjoy talking the same as when we lived together. Also, skype is useful after I go to Nevada in order to talk with parents. Next, I want to present a game controller that can be connected to PC for my brother. He is ten years old, but he loves computer. My parents do not want him to crazy for computer, and they do not buy computer peripheral equipments, but I think computer is interesting and good, so I want to present a thing that gives him more interest.

Network neutrality

Network neutrality came to discussion in 2005, and many people are serious rekindling of interest in it. It means the principle that Internet users should be in control of what content they view and what applications they use on the Internet. It is this neutrality that has allowed many companies, including Google or Yahoo, to launch, grow, and innovate. Fundamentally, net neutrality is about equal access to the Internet. Today, the neutrality of the Internet is at stake as the broadband carriers want Congress's permission to determine what content gets to you first and fastest. In Japan, The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) is planning to make the institute of network neutrality from October in 2006 to 2008.

Resent News!!

This is resent computer news that I am interested in. According to The survey by the Pew Internet & American Life Project, 34% of American Internet users have used wireless connection like WiFi or cell phone. 19% of Internet users have wireless conection in their house. Two years ago, only 22% of users had wireless connection, and if we consider about the fact that Internet-population is growing, it is remarkable progress even though the persentage seems not so big. I wonder the case of Japan. All most all Japanese cell phones can connect to the Internet, so dose it mean we have wireless connection? I am not sure, and unfortunately I cannot find the information about that. However, it is true that wireless conection is becoming popular rapidly because of the convenience.

What Is "Social Engineering"?

Social engineering is also called social hacking or social cracking. Social engineering is stealing important security information such as ID or passwords, not by technically but by socially. Popular example is picking through trash of a company or an organization and finding discs that contain secret documents or important data. Even you may use a paper shredder, it can be reconnected. Also, it is other way calls and asks information by lying about his/her identity. In a company, perpetrators may pass himself off as a boss, call to system management center, and say “I forgot passwords, so please tell me again”. There are a lot of other ways. Companies have to set up exacting rules of important data to prevent social engineering.

about the Mac

I do not know about the Mac a lot, but I learned from the class a little. In those things, I especially interested in the very nice customer service, and there is no virus to the Mac because I am often embarassed by the windows customer suervise and viruses. Also, it is attractive that the Mac can use both the Windows and the Mac functions. In addition, many people say that the Mac computer is better at graphic and paintings. For me, the design of the mac computers is absolutely attractive than the Windows. The Mac is very smart, compact, and cool!! The new laptop computer of the Mac surprized me because it was so small like, you said that it looked like a lunch pack.

What do you know about the Mac (Apple computers)?

I have used Mac computers only a few times, and I do not know about the Mac. However, I am interested in the design and the improvements. Many people say that the Mac is difficult to use, but I want to know whether it is true or not because Mr. Poza said that the Mac is easier than the Windows. Can I use Mac easily even I am accustomed to the Windows? Also, apple is introducing attractive things, so I think if I use such things: like i-pod and i-phone, it is better to use the Mac rather than the Windows. Is there any compatibility? Finally, I have a question about the Mac users who strongly recommend the Mac. If the Mac is so nice, why do most people use the Windows? Generally speaking, I think people use better thing, so popular computer is better, so I cannot understand why the Mac cannot get popularity. These are my questions about the Mac!

What I want to learn about computers

What I want to learn about computers…
First of all, I need to know basic things about computers. I use computer everyday: Microsoft ward, Internet, and windows media player. However, I do not use other windows often, so I want to know other useful and interesting things. Also, I want to use Microsoft ward and power point efficiently.
Another thing is how to make interesting a blog and homepage. I have a blog, but it looks very usual, so I want to make more attractive page.
Lastly, I want to learn latest news or update of computer peripheral equipments. When I hear news of computers, usually I cannot understand by myself because there are a lot of technical wards. Thus, I want to learn special terms from this class and be able to see IT news.
I hope Computer makes my life easy and more interesting.
